Several years ago, a good friend of mine gave me some tapes to listen to of Patricia Sun noted philosopher, spiritualist, confident and otherwise amazing being. Her words stuck in my mind over the years and every once in awhile, fall out of my subconscious into my consciousness to remind me that all is well and everything is going according to plan. 
These glimmerings of wisdom come to me when I have a huge feeling about something and no words to describe what it is that I’m feeling. For instance, I’ve recently decided to engage in the Q&A boards with the on-line community of LinkedIn and am meeting the most interesting people from across the globe. I’m amazed at the depth of consciousness, intelligence and willingness to “play” that many of these people display just in simple questions and answers about various topics.
This was the very same feeling I had when I first emailed from my alpha micro system to various editors around the country for a journal I worked for back in the eighties. That feeling was one of being connected to other spirits/beings without the distraction of the body. I remember Patricia saying (in the tapes) that within a narrow window but a pretty huge leap of growth, that humans will be able to communicate with each other telepathically without it seeming unusual or out of the ordinary in anyway.
I answered a question flippantly the other day regarding communicating via the net that “wasn’t this mode of communication much like our having training wheels for when we would be able to communicate in other ways”. I take heart as well because somewhere deep in the recesses of my memory, I seem to remember Ms. Sun saying that during this transition we may “lose words” or the ability to speak what is in our mind. Maybe that is why when a group of friends and I got together not to long ago to play the game Cranium, I was able to guess my teammate’s rough pantomime of Princess Leah (Star Wards) in less than 20 seconds. Everyone around us knew something extraordinary had happened but no one could say that I cheated!! In the blink of an eye, I just “saw” the image in my friend’s head and said what I saw.
Who knows what this is all about really but I am very grateful to have this wonderful mode of the net so that we can connect with so many other fabulous beings so quickly. My hope is that we will be able to create great things for our world because of this ability to connect like we’ve never connected or created before.
