DINK #258 What is One Thing You’re Willing To Do Differently This Week?

I asked this question, “what is one thing you’re willing to do differently this week” to my LI friends and am getting some excellent responses so I thought it might be fun to ask it here as well.
“Willing” is the operative word of course. There are many actions, thoughts, beliefs, ideas that we may want to do or think of differently but if we’re not willing to change then we won’t. You’ve heard the shortened version of the Serenity Prayer which goes:
God, grant me the serenity to
Accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things that I can
And the wisdom to know the difference.
Pretty much the only thing we can change is ourselves. And even that is a crap shoot if we’re not willing to change.
One thing I’m willing to do differently this week is to make copies of the three medical claim forms that have been sitting on my desk for months now waiting for me to call up our insurance carrier to find out where to mail them for out of network reimbursement consideration. They’ve been sitting there because I have been anticipating a run-around with the insurance company and so rather than take the steps necessary to get these forms mailed off, I’ve just allowed them to sit there collecting dust.
I’m willing to write my essay responses and mail in an application for a scholarship this week.
I’m willing to begin organizing and categorizing all the blogs that I’ve written (over 300) in preparation for a book next year.
I’m willing to keep my mind open for whatever or whomever I may have blinders up about so that I can see it or them in a different light.
What are you willing to do differently this week?
